Lew Ford jacked one out of the ballyard as the Chainsaw Proctologists defeated
the Enterprise Trekkers by the score of 7 to 6 at the ballpark.

Chainsaw brought 3 runs across the plate in the top of the 3rd inning when
they had 4 base hits.  Jack Wilson led off and started the attack as he
banged out a single.  After an out was recorded, Nick Green stepped in and he
lined a base-hit.  Julio Franco then ripped a base-knock scoring a run.
Carlos Lee was up next and he laced a base-knock plating another run.  B.J.
Surhoff stepped into the box and would ground out scoring the final run of
the inning.  Chainsaw totaled 15 on the afternoon.  

Josh Towers(3-2) went 5 and 1/3 innings allowing 5 runs for the win. Towers
got relief help from Todd Jones who gained credit for his 3rd save.  The loss
was charged to Mike Hampton(0-4).  Chainsaw scored big getting 6 runs off him
in 5 and 2/3 innings.  

Chainsaw now has a record of 18-17.  With the loss, Enterprise has a record of
4-6 lately, 13-22 overall.
